Description
The full name of hydroxyaluminum chloride ACH produced by our factory is Aluminum Chlorohydrate, CAS number 12042-91-0, Chinese name aluminum hydroxyaluminum chloride, basic aluminum chloride or polyaluminum chloride, the molecular formula is Al2(OH)5Cl·2H2O. It is an inorganic polymer compound with a degree of alkalinization (salinity) higher than polyaluminum chloride and second only to aluminum hydroxide, which is bridged polymerized by hydroxyl groups, with the highest number of hydroxyl groups in the molecule.
The alumina content in liquid ACH products is more than 23%, and the alumina content in solid ACH products is 46%-50%. It has strong bridging adsorption performance, soluble in water, and the hydrolysis process is accompanied by physical and chemical processes such as electrochemistry, condensation, adsorption and precipitation.

Polyaluminium chloride is {xAl2(OH)4Cl2 + yAl2(OH) 3Cl3+zAl2(OH)2Cl4}nH2O, molecular weight is uncertain, is gray-white yellow powdery solid, its solution is yellow translucent liquid. The alumina content in liquid products is less than 12%, and the alumina content in solid products is only 27%~32%. Storage & Transportation

2. The product is prohibited to be mixed with toxic substances, transportation and storage, the product should be stored in a dry, ventilated, cool place indoors, and do not get damp, mild moisture does not affect the use effect.
3. The tanks and pipes of ACH solution should be made of recommended materials for corrosion-resistant products, such as: FRP, PVC, PP, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or rubber materials. Metering pumps and other equipment, contact with concentrated polyaluminum solution must also use acid-resistant materials, such as PVC, rubber, PTFE, ceramics, Hastelloy C type. Parts that do not come into contact with liquids are available in any material such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper or aluminum.

The transportation is general transportation, and the polyaluminum bulk liquid is corrosive to the metal, and non-metallic tanks or anti-corrosion containers must be used. Once spilled or a large amount of leakage occurs, it can be washed with water and will not cause harm to the environment.
